In August we’ll be visiting another of our member farmers! Kelly Young will be hosting us at Kelly’s Flower Brook Farm in Westminster. The meeting will be 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
The address is:
65 Bacon St, Westminster, MA 01473
For some info about the farm, see

At Kelly’s Flower Brook Farm, we’re proving you don’t need a huge footprint to grow big! We cultivate on just an acre and a half – some might call it micro-farming! No fancy greenhouses here, just hardworking low tunnels for our cold-weather crops. Every plant’s journey starts right here on our indoor grow shelves, typically kicking off in late February.
Want to come see how it all works, and how to start growing some beautiful flowers and herbs on a small scale? Kelly is going to show us the inner workings of her little flower farm that makes a big impact!
Come see how Kelly has made a successful flower and herb business without a big space or a lot of fancy equipment.
Bring your questions and get ready to see some beautiful flowers and learn from seed to vase how she does it!
This is a potluck. Please bring a snack or non alcoholic drink to share with the group.
Also bring a farm friend that might be interested in seeing what MAA can offer them. New member sign-up available on the spot!
There will be a brief (one agenda item) business meeting to vote on authorizing the executive board to meet with Growing Places for some updates and answers to MAA members’ questions about their program.
